Welcome to my website! I am an empirical economist with research interests in labor economics, urban economics, and the Chinese Economy. I received a PhD in economics from the University of Maryland in 2015. Before coming to Purdue, I was an assistant professor of economics at Michigan State University between 2015 and 2022.

I am a coeditor of the Journal of Human Resources and an associate editor of the  Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. I am a Research Fellow at RFBerlin.
